I am relatively new to the blogging scene with this site having been born in early April. What I am even newer to is the WordPress community. It has only been the past couple of months that I have started clicking on the avatars of some interesting comments on one blog, bounce to another blog, and another and another, all continuing to find more wonderful posts, photography, humor, news, etc. A virtual cornucopia of a cyber-world of information. I have subbed so many sites now that my inbox is never empty, and I check out each and every post notification. So when I received a Candle Lighter award from The Ranting Liberal, I was tickled pink! First Round of Iowa Republican Circus… oops, I mean “Caucus” Votes Are In 6
The first round of Iowa circus caucus votes are in… at in least the location, Urbandale IA, which I am viewing live via C-SPAN. There are plenty more coming all over the state of Iowa. Here are the results which I viewed (and a few screen shots of a typical low-quality live stream):
Mitt Romney: 116 votes; 34.6%
Rick Santorum: 82 votes; 24.5%
Ron Paul: 51 votes; 15.2%
Perry: 37: 11%
Newt Gingrich: 34 votes; 10%
