Well, here it is. Super Tuesday has finally arrived. This has been one of the most interesting primaries in history. I often feel as though I am watching an old reel of The Three Stooges, while at the same time trying to decide which person would best fill the shoes as POTUS. And boy, oh boy… am I having a tough time with that one. I keep having this visual scene playing in my head that I just cannot shake….

Actually, I have added more to my Project 365, so feel free to check the new additions out.
But I still have more catching up to do… (big cheesy grin)
The mudskipper. A fish that has fins which have evolved so that they are able to use them as arms in order to travel across land. Plus some other incredible features unique to themselves. Talk about an masterpiece in evolution – only the strongest survive. And they wanted to survive. I am familiar with the mudskipper – probably saw them originally on Mutual of Omaha’s “Wild Kingdom”… but I do not recall having seen them up close and personal as shown in this short video from National Geographic. I love how their dorsal fin flares up making them look prehistoric.
The mushers and their dog teams will spend about the next eight days traveling across nearly a thousand miles of Alaska wilderness in a sled, all trying to be the first musher to reach the old gold rush town of Nome.
A tourist walks into a curio shop in San Francisco. Looking around at the exotic, he notices a very lifelike, life-sized bronze statue of a rat. It has no price tag, But is so striking he decides he must have it.
He takes it to the owner, “How much for the bronze rat?”
“Twelve dollars for the rat, one hundred dollars for the Story,” says the owner.
Herman Cain may be gone from the presidential race, but he’s not willing to be forgotten. In a week where the usual campaign craziness is at new heights, the slow death of a goldfish in a seemingly pointless promotional video is, well, not that weird. Comparatively, that is….
Here we go again… The infamous Sheriff Joe Arpaio who claims he has damning proof that Obama’s birth certificate is a fake is now claiming that Andrew Breitbart may have been the victim of an assassination as he had more proof about Obama’s birth certificate. Andrew Breitbart, a well-known controversial conservative blogger, was found dead at the age of 43 on March 1st. Arpaio is the sheriff of Maricopa County, Phoenix AZ.

An Albuquerque, New Mexico man says he successfully registered his dog, Buddy, to vote as a registered Democrat in Bernalillo County. The dog owner said he saw a voter registration booth on the University of New Mexico’s campus a few weeks ago and decided to see how easy it would be to register his dog to vote.
That’s right. You read the title correctly. Senate Bill 507, introduced by Senator Grothman (R-West Bend) on February 23, 2012, would require the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board to emphasize that non-marital parenthood is a contributing factor to child abuse and neglect. Single parents make up a third of all Wisconsin parents. Once again, I am livid! What the hell is going on in our country? We seem to be going backwards in time as people’s rights start disappearing.
Love the idea on the website, The 99% Behind the Money. This site features photos of a face on a paper bill (i.e. Jackson on the US $20) that morph into your friends real face. It is real simple to do. Basically, you take a paper bill, fold it in half. Than position it between the camera and the subject (person) to be in the photograph until the bill face matches the real face. Then shoot away! When you have just what you want, you may upload and share on this website for shits and giggles.
Say good night, Gracie. “Good night, Gracie.”
If Dr. Suess was still alive, today he would be 108-years-old. Dr.Seuss was born on March 2, 1904. He gave us stories like “The Lorax,” “The Cat in the Hat” and much more. Theodor Seuss Geisel wrote books for all ages, with whimsical characters, rhyming and new phrases. Between a Grinch who stole Christmas, Sneetches and Thneeds, Dr. Seuss had an impact that all generations can see. So whether its “Green Eggs and Ham” or “Horton Hears a Who”, wishing you a very happy 108th birthday!
I am sure you have all heard by now that a powerful severe storm system moved across the United States on Friday, with a slew of tornadoes from Alabama to Indiana contributing to at least five deaths and threatening even more destruction as the day wore on.
A few days ago, Santorum compared Obama to Hitler, but in fact it is Santorum who has a few political ideals shockingly similar to Hitler’s. Don’t believe me? Take this 50/50 round and see if you can figure out who said what. I was very amazed, and actually rather frightened, both by the statements and the answers.
THE INVISIBLE WAR is a groundbreaking investigative documentary about one of our country’s most shameful and best kept secrets: the epidemic of rape within our US military. Today, a female soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire with the number of assaults in the last decade alone in the hundreds of thousands.
“Game Change” is an HBO exclusive movie that follows John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, to their ultimate defeat in the general election. It is scheduled to premier on March 10th at 9 PM EST. Do you plan on watching? At first, I had no desire to, but now I have changed my mind. My DVR is set and ready to record. I am actually looking forward to watching “Game Change.” I fully expect to be completely entertained in the same manner in which we are when watching the Three Stooges. However, I will have to turn the movie off if I become too overwhelmed from the harsh reality this pathetic woman came only a few steps away from the White House. That thought still gives me chills.
From CNN – Andrew Breitbart, a well-known conservative blogger, has died, his attorney confirmed Thursday. He was 43.
Breitbart was also known as a taking head on conservative television shows and got his start helping to run the original right-wing online media behemoth, the Drudge Report, then started his own website.
Last year, one of every 1,700 New Orleans residents was murdered. Just this past January, there was nearly a person slain every day. Twenty-six to be exact. An article published today by CNN tells the stories of several NOLA residents who have had to live with the death of at least one, sometimes several, loved ones.
