Super Tuesday | Let the Games Begin! 9

Well, here it is. Super Tuesday has finally arrived. This has been one of the most interesting primaries in history. I often feel as though I am watching an old reel of The Three Stooges, while at the same time trying to decide which person would best fill the shoes as POTUS. And boy, oh boy… am I having a tough time with that one. I keep having this visual scene playing in my head that I just cannot shake….

Fish That Walk 9

The mudskipper. A fish that has fins which have evolved so that they are able to use them as arms in order to travel across land. Plus some other incredible features unique to themselves. Talk about an masterpiece in evolution – only the strongest survive. And they wanted to survive. I am familiar with the mudskipper – probably saw them originally on Mutual of Omaha’s “Wild Kingdom”… but I do not recall having seen them up close and personal as shown in this short video from National Geographic. I love how their dorsal fin flares up making them look prehistoric.

Wisconsin SB 507 Lists Single Parents as a Factor to Child Abuse and Neglect 17

Senator Grothman

That’s right. You read the title correctly. Senate Bill 507, introduced by Senator Grothman (R-West Bend) on February 23, 2012, would require the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board to emphasize that non-marital parenthood is a contributing factor to child abuse and neglect. Single parents make up a third of all Wisconsin parents. Once again, I am livid! What the hell is going on in our country? We seem to be going backwards in time as people’s rights start disappearing.

The Money Face 5

Love the idea on the website, The 99% Behind the Money. This site features photos of a face on a paper bill (i.e. Jackson on the US $20) that morph into your friends real face. It is real simple to do. Basically, you take a paper bill, fold it in half. Than position it between the camera and the subject (person) to be in the photograph until the bill face matches the real face. Then shoot away! When you have just what you want, you may upload and share on this website for shits and giggles.

THE INVISIBLE WAR is a groundbreaking investigative documentary about one of our country’s most shameful and best kept secrets: the epidemic of rape within our US military. Palin Plays Her Own Game in Response to HBO’s Movie “Game Change” 17

“Game Change” is an HBO exclusive movie that follows John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, to their ultimate defeat in the general election. It is scheduled to premier on March 10th at 9 PM EST. Do you plan on watching? At first, I had no desire to, but now I have changed my mind. My DVR is set and ready to record. I am actually looking forward to watching “Game Change.” I fully expect to be completely entertained in the same manner in which we are when watching the Three Stooges. However, I will have to turn the movie off if I become too overwhelmed from the harsh reality this pathetic woman came only a few steps away from the White House. That thought still gives me chills.
