Today, Mitt Romney really made a very baaaaad mistake. When speaking to the NAACP in Houston, he – once again – declared his promise to repeal “ObamaCare.” I can only imagine how his heart and stomach sunk when he was met by several seconds of boo’s from the crowd and realized the enormous mistake he made. I do wonder, however, if the booing would not have been so bad if he had used the correct name of the act, which is the Affordable Healthcare Act. When “ObamaCare” is said in the manner in which Romney does, it comes across as derogatory. Naturally Obama has supporters of all races, ages, nationalities, and so on. But he most definitely has a large amount of support from the NAACP.
Oh, I will definitely agree with this. And I’m sure Don in Massachusetts will, too.
It’s time to take a break from the news and everything else which tires one’s mind. Kick back and hopefully a couple of the funnies below will put a smile on your face and produce a chuckle or two. There are also a few “awwww’s” to warm your heart.
Clicking on any of the images will enlarge it to full size. Hit “back” button to return for the rest. Hmmm… good opportunity for a quick quiz…. When clicking on an image, do you prefer to have the enlarged image appear in the same tab, thus having to hit “back” to return? Or do you prefer when the image opens in a NEW tab? Just curious. When it comes to images, I prefer the same tab. But when it is a link to another article, I prefer a new tab. I am curious about your preference, though. Please leave me a comment. Thanks!
Well, here we go. Another Monday, another work week. I really need to make the jump and start working for myself… then I will never have any Mondays since what I am planning to do I do not consider work – it’s fun!
Anyway, not quite there yet. So in the meantime, I still have the right to piss and moan that it’s Monday. And hope that the funnies here will help put a smile on your face if you’re hating Mondays, too. And even if you don’t hate Mondays. Funnies of all kinds. Stupid people, dogs, cats, cartoons, “groaners,” some political… a Motley – since that’s what this site is about. Motley = variety; diversity.
Ah, yes. Wednesday has arrived once again. Time for some funnies to help us get through Hump Day and the rest of the week.
Ayup, this is my one-thousandth post. I may be a political junkie, and definitely pro-women’s rights, but I also love a good laugh from time-to-time. Well, actually all the time. Therefore, what better way to celebrate my 1,000th post but with a bunch of funny photos, some with captions, some with my comments above the photo, and a few animated gif’s thrown in there.
I just could not help myself. Really, I couldn’t. This photo and caption simply deserves a post all to itself. Here we have the former President Clinton, his wife Hillary, and their dog, Buddy… er, I mean, Monica. (Sadly, Buddy died a year after President Clinton’s term ended after being a hit by a car near the President’s New York home.)
Ugh… another week has started. I am truly one of those people that do not like Monday’s. So what’s a better way to start the work week than with humorous dog photos, some with captions, some speak for themselves.
Woof! (that’s doggie-language for “enjoy”)
It’s Monday, once again. Ugh, I would much rather be back in bed. Since I can’t, then thought I would start the day out with some funnies. Here are some “I Hate Mondays” funnies, “Having a bad day” funnies, a few other oddballs, and some animated gif’s.
First, though, for your listening pleasure while perusing the funnies, here is the Boomtown Rats featuring Bob Geldof singing, “I Don’t Like Mondays.”
Need…. more…. coffee…………
Hope you enjoy!
As Tony says from Barking in the Dark, “…continue….”
During the past several weeks, our country has seen a revelation like no other with the Republican Party, especially in the Republican primaries. Each and every debate and hot topic is of a very serious nature, however, sometimes we just need to laugh at the insanity we are witnessing which belongs in our future history books.
Yesterday, one of my friends posted this on Facebook: “Do all Viagra reps look like retired strippers, or just the one at my Dr’s office?” I thought she was just posting a one-liner.
I was wrong.
