It’s time for this. I’ve hit overload and about to blow a gasket. When I reference “you” in this rant, “you” is directed to the people who are completely against any new gun laws and regulations who are raising a big stink. More…
As expected, any Romney supporter (with heavy financing), was shocked at the final outcome from November 6th, the night President Obama retained his seat. We have all heard the whining, crying, finger-pointing, foul, and so on and so on. But there were a couple of items which stood out more than others.
We all know that Karl Rove flipped out on FOX News when they announced Obama won Ohio. The video is below if you haven’t seen it. Basically, Rove just could NOT understand what was happening, which is what I expected. Although he did have a very shocked “the sun just rose in the west” look on his face, and that is what surprised me. Even more shocking was hearing many top supporters and chiefs cry that Romney was supposed to win with a landslide. That is NOT what the polls had been showing the entire time.
Ha! Saw this today making it’s round on the virtual waves. Romika is a shoe company out of Germany.
The Republican Record of bills put forth by Obama and the Democratic Party that were designed to help the majority of people in our country as well as small business owners:
In what was supposed to be a big surprise, but got leaked in advance, former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) delivered the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night.
Giffords, whose name was never listed on the convention schedule, appeared onstage with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is a close friend of Giffords and is also the DNC chairwoman.
A wonderful finale to three days of hope and inspiration for the future of our country. As always, Obama spoke eloquently and with a passion like no other who has stood in his place before him. Naturally, Obama spoke about his triumphs he devoted himself to see them happen, but yet, Obama did not speak about himself in a conceited manner. Throughout the speech, our President made it very clear that it was “us.”
Amy Kremer is the chair for the infamous Tea Party Express (“express”? Does that mean they’ll quickly be gone??). Last week, Kremer simply decided that Obama just did not love our country as much as Mitt does so she tweeted:
Huge difference between @MittRomney & @BarackObama is tht Mitt luvs America! We need a president that luvs this country! #RNC2012 #GOP2012
I just finished watching the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and it was wonderful. Very uplifting and inspiring. Never before have so many people touched me. Each speaker presented themselves showing their integrity and spoke so eloquently. I will not rehash this night, nor give a speaker by speaker report – just want to mention a few people that really stood out. What moved me most was what I saw about the audience. So if you don’t have time to read all of this, please skip down to “The Audience” section.
When Clint Eastwood spoke at the Republican National Convention on Friday, at one point, he began berating an empty chair – as if it was occupied by Obama. What many people didn’t know – myself being one of them – this was yet another chapter in a longstanding feud with chairs.
Hot from the presses, just published on April 24th, is the book from the author of the New York Times bestseller Dead Certain - the definitive book about the Bush Presidency – is a new book which provides a revealing and riveting look at unmoral goals set forth by the Republican Party starting at the very moment of President Obama’s inauguration called Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives.
Somehow, this does not surprise me.
