Think about this folks…. The government and the lackey politicians have been carrying on that the country needs SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) in order to stop piracy of copyrighted materials. If we are in such dire need of these two acts, then how did the Fed take down Megaupload and duly make arrests?

SOPA Will Take Us Back to the Dark Ages | Mashable 4
I got up early this morning simply because I wanted to see Reddit and so many other sites actually go black, and throughout the day, have submerged myself in article after article, tweet after tweet, and post after post. A most phenomenal day!
A developer friend of mine posted this link to his Facebook page – and he is the kind of guy that when he posts something internet-related, I check it out. SOPA/PIPA is not just about the money so many corporations are losing due to piracy, but also the money they are not gaining because the internet now allows an entrepreneur to cut of the middle-man. I am only going to include a few excerpts here as this article is worthy of going to and reading in it’s entirety. More…
SOPA/PIPA Infographic 4
“The potential for abuse of power through digital networks – upon which we as citizens now depend for nearly everything, including our politics – is one of the most insidious threats to democracy in the Internet age … This is no time for politicians and industry lobbyists in Washington to be devising new Internet censorship mechanisms, adding new opportunities for abuse of corporate and government power over online speech.”

SOPA for Dummies 10
One awesome (and anonymous) person decided to put together a short but sweet Google Doc called “SOPA For Dummies” to help explain this bill is simplistic terms.
Here is the G Doc in it’s entirety: More…
Companies in Support of SOPA Now Being Boycotted 9
Should SOPA pass, my fellow-internet cohorts… our world will change. Take this image I created… a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean where I masked in a Vaio and an HP laptop. Should H.R. 3261 pass, then this would no longer be “legal.” Even though I make NO monies from this little creation, my site could potentially be banned. In fact, what I have created is in all actuality, free advertising! Think about it…. All the product placement going on in movies and in TV shows… the thousands into millions of dollars spent by companies simply to have their logo or product shown at some point in time. In fact, I think Disney, Vaio and HP should pay ME for the image I created just for this post. More…
FOX News caught off guard while on air with a voters response poll 6
This is hilarious! I do not watch FOX News (for a reason) so I am not sure of the woman’s name sitting in the middle. But she is apparently shocked when a poll result is aired showing the Obama has a huge lead in the presidential race. She even says, “This is the wrong poll.” What? The actual results were put up and not the Faux News altered results??? More…
Media Consolidation: The Illusion of Choice | Infographic 4
With so many mergers, buy-outs, and bankruptcy’s which have occurred in the past decade or two, it has made keeping up with who is who, what is what, and who owns what very difficult. And, honestly, I simply just have not paid attention, nor have I really cared. I mean, it is not like I could or would have done anything, right? Like so many, we have just learned to shrug our shoulders and mumble under our breath, “So what’s new….” More…
If you don’t think that the US main stream media controls what we perceive and read… check this out 6
This photo is directly from the Time Magazine Europe website. Check it out yourself. Here are four covers of Time: US, Europe, Asia, and South Pacific. This says it all right here. If you have poo-poo’ed the fact that we are controlled by our main stream media, perhaps this will make you start questioning this. Wake up, America! More…
9/11 survivor and recognized hero censored by the mainstream media Reply
With the anniversary only two days away of 9/11, I fully expected all kinds of stories, videos, reports, etc. to come out of the woodwork. They have.
There are a plethora of conspiracy theories out there which I have been reading. Many seem far-fetched to me. I am not prone to conspiracy theories, in fact, I often guffaw at them. But from the moment I saw the coverage begin on the Twin Towers nearly ten years ago, there were – and are – many items which did not – and still do not – make sense to me.
