“The Last Letter”

I write this letter on the 10th anniversary of the Iraq War on behalf of my fellow Iraq War veterans. I write this letter on behalf of the 4,488 soldiers and Marines who died in Iraq. I write this letter on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of veterans who have been wounded and on behalf of those whose wounds, physical and psychological, have destroyed their lives. I am one of those gravely wounded. I was paralyzed in an insurgent ambush in 2004 in Sadr City. My life is coming to an end. I am living under hospice care. More…

I’m a dog-lover and just wanted to pay homage to one of our former first dogs, Barney Bush, an adorable black Scottish terrier owned by former President George “dubya.” Barney was 12 and died after a battle with lymphoma. That is still a respectable age, and definitely lived a loved life. More…

‘Game of Thrones’ uses George W Bush’s decapitated head in a few scenes. Some angered. ¹⁵

I’m still laughing at this…. Game of Thrones is an American medieval fantasy television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. According to the National Post, in Season 1 DVD commentary, “The last head on the left is George Bush,” show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss explain referring to a scene where Sansa Stark is forced to look at the head of her decapitated father (Sean Bean, not George Bush, but can you imagine?). “George Bush’s head appears in a couple of beheading scenes. It’s not a choice, it’s not a political statement. We just had to use whatever head we had around.” However, several people have noticed and became angered by this and demanded to know why George W. Bush’s head was in some of the scenes.
