The was the first Pocket Pig issue, with each page sized at 4-1/2 by 11. There is a piece on Elvis Presley as the cover would suggest. There is a centrefold picture of Chuck Berry. There is an interview with Jayne County. And loads of gossip. The issue came out on January 1980.

Issue 10 came out in December 1978. the cover story is of the Dave Clark Five, Inside there are pieces on the Verbs, the Rich Kids, Television, the Modern Lovers, the Viletones, the Dishes, the Boston music scene, and the L.A. music scene. There are photos of the Diodes with the Clash, David Byrne, Dave Thomas, and the Secrets.
