This is great! Humorous, yet ironically true. FYI… this is also a test post using my Android tablet. Using a computer is much easier, for sure. But it is do-able with a tablet. I wish there were arrows available to use to move the cursor around. Sure it is easy to tap and place the cursor, but often hard to place it precisely. Especially if my tap ends up being just one letter off. Anyway, I got a good chuckle out of this.

As we all know, The Onion is a site which only writes comedy which is typically satirical in nature, and will include any and every topic in the news. Politics, sports, entertainment, you name it, they’ll write it. Sometimes, though, an article may be so well written by including the facts of a newsworthy event that sometimes it is difficult to tell if it is actual or satire. In fact, last February, Republican House Rep. John Fleming of Louisiana thought an article was real that was posted to the Onion’s website on May 18, 2011 that headlined, “Planned Parenthood Opens $8 Billion Abortionplex.” Fleming went on a rant on his Facebook page – until someone informed him that the Onion is farce. He looked like a complete fool. Honestly, that article was too satirical to have been confused with reality. Fleming so wanted it to be true that he thought it was.

I have to admit, the one good thing about these two is that they are constantly giving everyone excellent joke and/or spoof material. Especially when Mitt Romney went to England – the British papers and tabloids had a field day! The cover page of a newspaper called him, “Mitt the Twit”! It doesn’t get any better than that. Still, Romney is always saying the most absurd things – almost like a child sometimes.

Here are a couple of videos from a show called “Totally Biased” and they are hilarious – and I mean ROTFLMFAO!
The first video, “Todd Man Out,” is about Todd Akin and his moronic comment that women’s bodies shut down ovulation during rape.
The second video, “Tutors Without Borders,” is targeting those people who are Obama-haters and have their signs to prove it. Problem is, they can’t spell! Sounds like the Tea Party to me. And in honor of this video, I have included some photos of signs with misspelled words, and signs with completely the wrong word used.

Imagine… George Carlin as President of the United States. Every right-winger would have a heart attack, and every liberal, or semi-liberal, and probably a fair amount of those who are neutral, would all be dancing the “happy dance.” Or dancing just like Obama did which the SCOTUS announced that the Affordable Health Care Act was not unconstitutional…
I know I would be doing this dance…. Now, I am a liberal registered as a Democrat and a supporter of Obama – even though he has done a few things I do not care for. But sometimes a leader needs to go to extremes and basically say “F-you” to those in your way is what needs to be done, and that you’re tired of their bullshit. Carlin would most definitely tell people like Boehner to kiss his ass….

However, after this article went viral, so many people questioned it’s validity that snopes even researched and posted that it, “…is not something actually uttered by Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum….” Although this is hilarious, it is also very sad that we have a man running for the GOP POTUS candidacy who is so off the chain, that so many citizens actually thought it may by true!
