Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you are quite aware of the presidential election going on between incumbent President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. Depending upon which news channel you are watching, the polls outcome will vary. I do want to briefly mention, though, that the polls after the third debate are unsettling…. For the most part in that debate, Romney sat back on his laurels and agreed a lot of what Obama has been doing with foreign policies. Romney was a “yes sir, no sir” debater that night. Then to see some polls favor Romney after this debate? Something smells fishy.

Salt Lake Tribune Announces Their Endorsement of President Obama 7

Woo-hoo! Talk about a slap in Mitten’s face, the state’s leading newspaper in Utah announced their support and endorsement for President Barack Obama today.

In the SL Tribune Editorial published Friday, the Tribune acknowledged that Romney had become the “state’s adopted son” after rescuing the Olympics from sure failure. That was the Mitt Romney that they had grown to know and love.

Today is a good day in America. Obama (finally) supports gay marriage. 12

Yesterday, after North Carolina passed Amendment One, which no longer allows civil unions and was created specifically to target same-sex unions, I posted that it was a sad day in America – which it was. To be perfectly honest, I expected that to happen. After all, North Carolina is part of the Bible Belt where people believe the text in the bible overrides our Constitution – even though many Christians, especially in the Bible Belt, pick and choose what they wish to force on others. After all, in the bible, it is permissible to own slaves as well as sell your own daughter. I feel I have made my point here.
