This year is most definitely a banner year for ignorance, hatred and intolerance. Much of these have been focused on women, minorities, and homosexuality. It’s as if a malaise is spreading rapidly throughout the weak-minded who follow the selfish and controlling people. This has changed drastically to a point that is now damaging our country as we continue to go backwards in time when it comes to equal rights.
The Republican Party, for some insane reason, has decided it is their duty to say what women can and cannot do with their bodies. President Obama even addressed this the other day when he spoke in response to Rep. Todd Akin’s idiotic statement. During most of my life, I have watched women and minorities move up in the ranks of equality in our society and work force. In 2011, there were hints of change. Then 2012 hit and the RNP has gone off the deep end!
Well, currently 74.9% of the votes are in. For Barrett (D): 758,990 for 44.1%. And Walker has 953,080 for 55.3%. And these numbers are not sitting right with me.
There were just over a million signatures on the petition to recall Walker. Those people who signed will surely vote. Then add on the others who would vote against Walker and when all the votes come in, there should be at least a million votes for Barrett. I would imagine the majority of the people who signed plus another hundred thousand, if not more after so many teachers have been fired, would vote for Barrett.
I love this story.
Amanda Radle, 30, wanted to vote for in the gubernatorial primary, and she supports the effort to recall Walker, who has infuriated the state’s unions with his initiatives to cut benefits and limit collective bargaining.
Basically, Amanda and her husband, Jeffrey Radle, 36, were arguing in front of their Chippewa Falls, Wisc., home about who she was planning on voting for. Jeffrey and his brother, Mike Radle, are staunch supporters of Walker. When Amanda went to leave, her husband stood in front of her SUV and refused to let her pass. Eventually she found a “hole” and attempted to escape – but Jeffrey (stupidly) jumped in front of the vehicle.
