Hungry ants clamour to get their hands on a piece of chocolate brownie that had been left on a pile of leaves.
Known in Indonesia as the Rang-Rang, the insect lives in colonies where each
has their own role as either worker, drone or queen.

The Balloonist’s Prayer:
May the winds welcome you with softness.
May the sun bless you with its warm hands.
May you fly so high and so well that God joins you in laughter
And sets you gently back into the loving arms of Mother Earth.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others,
are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

I just love this photo. The quality may not be that good, but the content is what is exceptional.
I do not have any history on this photo, therefore I am unsure of what country this was taken in.
I am guessing India by the style of clothing.
The look on the native children makes me grin from ear to ear as they marvel at the little blond girl.
And the blond girl is precious standing there in amazement in her tiny croc’s.
A there is a lesson many should learn here and that is simply not to hate what is different in others,
but rather to embrace and enjoy.

or you can live as if everything is a miracle.”

Oliver Voss’s floating sculpture is designed to look like a woman bathing in the picturesque Alster Lake.
The three-piece work of art, which is 13ft high and 98ft long.
Meet Landon.
His father, Marine LCPL Carpenter, gave his life defending our country in Afghanistan earlier this year,
a month before his son was born. Baby Landon’s Mom wants his story to be known.

Never forget the price of freedom.
On a plaque in the Taos Visitors Center is written:
“The oldest continuously inhabited community in the United States has been acknowledged by historians
to be our home for more than 1,000 years.
They speculate about where we came from, but we already know the answer:
We have been here since time immemorial.”
This is a photo I took November 2010.
When Kevin Kirkpatrick, a famous Hollywood make-up artist, is not busy on the set, he has a hobby of creating prosthetic models of cartoon characters. I find this picture of Beavis and Butthead to be very disturbing.
