Government Doublespeak | To deceive and confuse 7

Doublespeak. The deliberate use of ambiguous terms in order to deceive the public, is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and it’s the kind of language we hear constantly on TV. But why does the mainstream media comply with its use?

Black Friday stampedes. There are other alternatives… 4

In watching these videos of footage from today’s Black Friday’s stampedes, I honestly just do not understand this.  I don’t.  Why do people do this?  They are very apparently risking injury to themselves and others, as well as being a target for robberies and a possible punching bag for an irate shopper simply standing next to you. “They Live” a sci-fi movie from 1988 doesn’t appear to be sci-fi anymore Reply

I saw this movie when it first came out in 1988 and loved it!  But back then, it was nothing but Science Fiction.  Now, I no longer see it as fiction but as reality… as non-fiction.  The aliens merely represent the corporations and government in our world today.
