Heart-breaking letters written to the exec’s of the big banks Reply

A site has been created called Occupy the Board Room which lists the executives of the following companies:  Goldmans Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo.  In this site, you may personally write a letter to the banker of your choice.  These are emailed directly to their inbox (full email address are not disclosed due to the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

The site does state:  “We hope you become pals <name of chosen banker> — but be sure to do it in a constructive manner that helps build the movement for a better world. DO NOT intimidate, harass or threaten anyone, no matter what you might think of them. “

Occupy Albuquerque | Downtown March Oct 22, 2011 Reply

Once again, Occupy Albuquerque marches on in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street.  On Saturday, the group started from the home base of Coyote Camp and marched to downtown Albuquerque.  Many banks were visited, but the final spot of protest before the return home was at the intersection of 4th and Central – the heart of downtown Albuquerque.

Insanity erupts in the OccupyMelbourne movement on Friday | Video Reply

Footage obtained through the Herald Sun of police in Australia, pulling, dragging and arresting ‘Occupy’ protesters in Melbourne’s City Square.

The paper reports that, on Friday, nearly 100 Occupy-protesters were arrested while 20 suffered minor injuries. A police officer and a protester were taken to the emergency room. Eight police cars were damaged during the protest, police told the newspaper.

Marines join force to assist the Occupy Wall Street movement as #occupymarines Reply

What began as the gathering of just a few US Marines has now become a major organized movement to get Marines and military personnell of all branches to Occupy America nationwide. You can thank Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas for that. His actions last week have inspired service men and women across the country to take a stand for the American people and join the Occupy protests.
