The Parting Shot for July 3, 2012

At a snail’s pace….

Photo I took not more than 20 minutes ago of a snail outside on the hose in the flower garden. Do click on the image TWICE (not fast, not a double-click – once to enlarge and another to increase to full size). You can really see it up close. At the end of each antennae is a black dot… those are the snail’s eyes! Pretty cool! And yes, that is my dog’s white fur all over it. They love to share!

  No, that is a garden hose. The toad isn’t in this photo. It’s a bit to the right. I have another photo with the toad in it.
