The Parting Shot for January 26, 2012
Taos Pueblo
“Place of the Red Willows”
On a plaque in the Taos Visitors Center is written:
“The oldest continuously inhabited community in the United States has been acknowledged by historians
to be our home for more than 1,000 years.
They speculate about where we came from, but we already know the answer:
We have been here since time immemorial.”
This is a photo I took November 2010.
I love everything about Santa Fe and Taos — the land, the history, the people, the food, the art, the culture, etc. But I’m preaching to the choir, I imagine.
It is most beautiful there, for sure.
you have a good eye Michelle. continue…
Thanks. I just went through them, tweaked in Photoshop and uploaded to my photo site: http://motleyphotos.net/2012/01/27/taos-pueblo-nm-black-and-white-photography/
