The Best Superbowl Commercials of Superbowls Past

Superbowl Sunday also means Superbowl Commercials. Thought I would take a trip down memory lane and searched for the Superbowl Ads from the past. And a few coming up during the game today. This was not an easy task considering many of the videos have been removed, or accounts closed.

But first, here are a few Superbowl Commercials which were banned and never shown on TV.

Now here are a few individual commercials. In chronological order.

1970: Prestone | Dick Butkus. Not funny, but vintage.

    I am boycotting the UnSuper Bowl…but not the million dollar spots between plays!

      Honestly, I’m not much of an NFL any more. It’s just gotten out of control with the greed and hype. But I do enjoy watching the Superbowl – as long as there is an actual game going on. But I do love the commercials. I have little interest in Madonna, tho, at half-time. I’ve never been a big Madonna fan.

        I only liked one of her cuts, Vogue….I loved that song because at the time it was released my lady and I were living in Madison, Wisconsin, and we frequented a gay club and that song was on and poppin whenever it played. In Madison back then, the gay clubs were the best dance clubs. Everything else she has done i can take or leave.

          LOL.. Madison. I road tripped their in college with other friends for their famous State Street Party on Halloween. This was back in 1982. Had a blast!

          LOL.. yeah. I was a freshman in color, turned loose by my parents, and honestly, I don’t remember much of that trip, so must have been fun. I do recall having a great time, just been too long so don’t remember the details.

    I’ve set the DVR to record the game, today. So I can watch the commercials.

    OTOH, Chelsea 3 – 3 Manchester United this morning on Fox was exciting as hell!

      LOL.. I did last year, and just about to go do the same now. Altho I am going to Lyn’s to watch at least part of the game until I poop out and need to come home.
