Carnaval Party in Rio de Janeiro | Tilt Shift Video
I love tilt-shift photography and videos. Tilt-shift has to do with the relationship between the lens plane to the image plane, and the results give you an image or video which simulates a miniature scene. Then speeding the film up only adds to the effect.
Here is a video filmed with a tilt-shift camera of the Carnaval Party in Rio de Janeiro. I’m going to be honest, it starts out a bit slow. But when the parade starts at approximately 2:17, it is amazing! It truly looks like all the people are miniatures, not real. And the parade floats are a marvel to watch go by.
Interesting effect. Never heard of tilt-shift before. It does indeed look like miniatures.
I love it. I’ve done some “fake” tilt shift in photoshop before.
That was really cool Michelle. I’ve never heard of tilt-shift before either, but I really enjoyed watching this. Liked the music too. Thanks!
Hmmm… I may have to post some of my “fake” tilt shift stuff sometime. Glad you liked it.
yes Michelle, post your fake tilt shift stuff (try typing that 3 times fast). amazing, some looks animated, some of it looks like a bee-hive, the colors, the music track, thanks, this is cool. continue…
It’s so cool! I love tilt-shift
