Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) Jokes About Santorum

Too funny! Have to give Scott Brown an “A” for creativity. Brown, who’s locked in a battle with Elizabeth Warren for Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat, is advised by Eric Fehrnstrom, of the Shawmut Group – who is also one of Mitt Romney’s key advisers.

At a St. Patrick’s Day event in Massachusetts, Sen. Scott Brown took a tawdry shot at the expense of Rick Santorum and his past criticisms of contraception:

“I’m hopeful that all of you are actually following presidential politics. I see that both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum now have secret service with them on the campaign trail and in Santorum’s case, I think it’s the first time he’s actually ever used protection, so yeah, yeah. Just saying.”

The joke, I should note, reportedly began with Conan O’Brien a few weeks ago. Everything old is new again. I have to admit, I like it better when it’s one Republican making fun of another Republican – especially Santorum, as ol’ Ricky deserves everything he gets.

  1. 1) I’m blind!

    2) I think the best Republican criticism of Santorum was on the radio from Washington DC over the weekend. One of the very right-wing hosts was talking about Rick Santorum and she stated,

“Rick Santorum is not qualified to be PotUS. He could be quite a gifted Secretary of Offense. He’s offensive to women. He’s offensive to non-Christians. He’s offensive to minorities. He’s offensive to animals. He’s offensive to intelligence. Finally, he’s offensive to voters. How else is Mitt Romney winning this election cycle?”

Seriously, I was laughing so hard.

  2. My, it must be a small package if he can cover it with his wrist. Congrats to Elizabeth Warren for defeating this poster boy.

    • Isn’t it great? And for Murdoch and Akins to both be ousted. I’ll bet these idiots are now going to keep their mouths shut about rape. The woman have spoken and voted this time.

Go ahead... I can hear your thoughts. Please share with the rest!
