I am sure many of you, if not all of you, have now noticed a new feature here on WordPress…. stats on “Likes” on your blog. I know some other bloggers have commented about the new notification of “likes” which started appearing today, and the stats given somewhat vary. One blogger commented that her stat notification informed her of how many total “Likes” she has on her blog. Mine was different, but I also received TWO today – and it appears as though there is still some debugging to do.
The first one I received a few hours ago said the following:
On Wednesday March 21, 2012 you surpassed your previous record of most likes in one day ( 62 ) for your posts on Motley News. That’s pretty awesome, well done!
Note: we started tracking this March 2012.
Okay, good, fine. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Yada yada yada. Then… about five minutes ago, I receive this next one:
On Thursday March 22, 2012 you surpassed your previous record of most likes in one day ( 57 ) for your posts on Motley News. That’s pretty awesome, well done!
Note: we started tracking this March 2012.
Do you see it? I hope so. WordPress has become psychic! They’ve let me know how many “likes” I am going to get tomorrow on Thursday, March 22nd. And either they cannot count, or I’ve been counting wrong for 47 years now because it’s my understanding that 57 is less than 62. Correct?
Hmmmm…. I wonder if they’ll send me the next Power Ball winning numbers….
