  1. That is amazing Michelle. Do you know if it’s real? I’m a skeptic tonight…

    1. No, I don’t know for a fact. But I’ve seen trees growing out of sheer rock walls before, so I don’t see how this would be much different.

    Wow, that is incredible. 🙂

  3. That is so beautiful but it seems as though it would tear the bricks apart. Roots are so invasive and the sheer weight of the branches and foliage…but if it is true it would be marvelous to have a tree growing from someones bedroom window.

  4. Like you, Michelle, I’ve seen plenty of trees growing in the most unbelievable places. This one is particularly interesting but most certainly, eventually, will destroy that wall. Too bad.

    1. I have another one with a tree that took root and grew on top of a private crypt. A very old one. I like it.

  5. Destructive Beauty. We have Ivy we’ve tried to get rid of, it has a life of its own, it grows from nothing.

    1. Ivy can do that. Where I used to rock climb in KY is full of Kudzu. Now that is a very destructive plant.

  6. Amazing image. I’ve seen plants and also trees grow in some places as seemingly impossible as what is pictured here, so I’m inclined to believe that this is real.
