No, this is not a new sequel by author Thomas Harris, The Silence of the Lambs – this was an actual scene in Miami, Florida. A word of warning… although there are no graphic images, nor is there anything more shown than a blurred out naked body, and the bare legs of two naked men, this news story is true and is a horribly gruesome and violent crime. One man was witnessed literally biting into a man’s face, tearing away the flesh, and chewing….
According to WSVN-Fox 7, at about 2 p.m. on Saturday:
“While Larry Vega rode his bicycle off the MacArthur Causeway on Saturday afternoon, he witnessed something that can only be described as savage: a naked man chewed off the face of another naked man. “And the guy was like tearing him to pieces with his mouth, so I told him, ‘Get off!’” [Vega] said. “You know it’s like the guy just kept eating the other guy away like ripping his skin.”
“Upon witnessing what he describes as a scene out of a horror movie, Vega managed to flag down a Miami Police officer. “Police officer came over, told him several times to get off and a police officer climbed over the divider and got in front of him and said, ‘Get off!’ And told him several times and the guy just stood his head up like that with a piece of flesh in his mouth and growled,” said Vega.
“When the attack continued, Vega says the officer fired but the man continued to chew flesh off the victim. The officer fired several more times, eventually killing the attacker.
“A Miami Herald surveillance camera caught the aftermath as the two men laid side by side on the ground. “It was just a blob of blood,” said Vega. “You couldn’t really see, it was just blood all over the place.”
“Rescue crews rushed the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital with 75% of his face missing…. The victim remains in critical condition. Sources tell 7News the injuries the victim sustained are some of the worst injuries they have ever seen.”
Miami Police Shoot And Killed Man For Eating Another Man’s Face Off!
Gruesome. Completely and totally gruesome. A scene that walked out of a horror movie occurred just under an overpass in Miami. I read about this early this morning and I am still at a loss for words. What? Why? “Cocaine psychosis” remains a theory, but I’m just not buying that. I have witnessed people doing some very weird shit while being seriously high on cocaine, but never have I ever seen anything that comes close to this. Obviously this flesh-eater was not in the right state of mind and unless a toxicology report reveals any substances which may have caused this to happen, I doubt we will ever know the real truth here.
In the surveillance camera video, all that is visible of the two men are the legs. Why are they both naked? This simply raises more questions as the dual nudity suggests that the two know each other and were in a mutually agreed upon something-or-other. Zombie-anything is all the rage now, and I personally find a lot of entertainment in it as well. I love zombie movies. I enjoy looking at photos from zombie parades and parties – there are some damn good zombie makeup artists out there – both professional and recreational.
But to eat another human’s face? I cannot imagine that the victim agreed to something like this. “Oh, come on… it’ll be fun. Just a nibble or two. I promise I won’t tear off any flesh. And our “stop word” will be “vegetarian.” I am not trying to make light of this situation – well, yes I suppose I am. But only because of pure bewilderment as to what has occurred – absolutely no disrespect is meant. I am completely and entirely baffled. Hopefully when the victim has recovered enough, he will be able to remember what happened and tell us all.
I do have one more question, and please accept my apologies in advance… if “Hannibal” had lived, would he have been charged with an “ate” crime?
