Your Raven pic reminds me of some hikes my wife and I did in the higher elevations of the Presidential Range in New Hampshire, because we often saw big Ravens up there. They have different calls, and one call sounds like a crow cawing, only with a much deeper tone.
But they also make a very loud and raucous scream, like WHAAHHKKK!!!
It would crack us up, because we’d think of Poe’s poem “The Raven” and I’d smile at Jean and instead of saying “Quoth the Raven, ‘Nevermore.’ I’d say “Quoth the Raven, ‘WHAAHHKKK!!!” and we’d both crack up laughing, and joking that I should do this new version of Poe’s classic at a poetry slam.
It was funny and very silly, and I guess ya had to be there… Lol 😀
