The Parting Shot for July 7, 2012
I’m just glad this is a photo. If you look closely, in the reflection in the dew you will see two dragonflies copulating.

I’d have missed the dragonflies if you hadn’t mentioned them.
Thought I recognized the spider so went to look it up. Scrolled slowly down the page, examining each picture, and finally got to the bottom … someone has a sense of humor. http://www.termite.com/spider-identification.html#Huntsman%20Spider
Turns out you don’t have to go to the bottom …
LOL… no, you don’t. Assuming you mean the Huntsman spider moving at the top. That’s the one I saw first, but only had about a half an inch of it showing just barely at the bottom of my screen. And thought… “did that just move?” It would have been a better effect to me if I had the whole thing visible when I saw it move the first time. I’m sure I would have jumped.
I managed to slide past the first Huntsman without noticing anything. So I’d gone all the way down the page carefully examining each spider and was clear down at the bottom … before I jumped. Too bad the one at the top moves. The stage needs to be properly set.
LOL… I still liked it nonetheless.
What? The spider moving? Oh, that photographer is from Sumatra or something like that. So I doubt that critter will be found state-side.
Creepy – I loved it!
I would have missed it as wellll…very beautiful
It’s subtle. I didn’t see it the first time either.
