Erupting volcano photographed from space
An image taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) of a large plume of smoke, steam and ash erupting from the Sarychev volcano on the Kuril Islands, Russia. It is thought that the eruption has caused a hole to form in the cloud layer above it. (Picture: NASA / SPL / Barcroft Media)

Nice…….
though I would not like to be downwind, there are a lot of noxious chemicals there, like CFC’s, CO, CO2 and a witches brew of toxic dioxins. Al better send the bill for credits……
I’ll stay on the upwind side, too.
Now that is amazing!
