The Parting Shot for September 22, 2012
.
Wonder and amazement in the eyes of a child.
And an adult because I know I would be there right next to her looking at this walrus in utter fascination.

That’s beautiful. Two creatures that God made (or whatever you want to call whatever we came from) viewing each other with a sense of wonder.
Or…..I want one of those!!!!!!
I love those picture windows underwater to watch what comes up and says hello. I was at Sea World Orlando quite a few years ago, watching just that. Suddenly, A killer whale comes up, long with her pup, to say hello! The baby was so curious about us. We put our hands on the glass and the baby came up to put his nose to the glass to try and touch it. It was amazing!
I love them too. I can sit for hours and watch. One time there was a polar bear who kept doing the same pattern of diving, swimming, getting out and diving in again. It was like he was doing laps.
I wish that everyone could still have “that”.
I think most do. It just takes a few special things. And this would work for many… to have such an incredible – and large – creature come to you only inches away… I think most adults will find they still have a little “child” in them.
This is the kind of magnificent creature Shell would seek to destroy by drilling the Arctic Sea.
