Nine Democrat Presidents Including Obama Playing a Game of Pool
This is a awesome painting by Andy Thomas. Democrat Presidents playing pool is titled “Callin’ the Red.” Just imagine what President Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, President Kennedy, Harry S. Truman, President Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and Andrew Jackson are talking about. (Probably Romney’s gaffes, as well as Romney’s complete incompetence for holding the office of Commander in Chief.) Yes, Andy Thomas also has one for the Republican presidents… but I won’t go there. It is on his website if you want to check it out.
Now, there is one item in this painting that has me puzzled. Look at the painting on the wall right behind Obama’s head. It is of these guys, but slightly different positions and arrangement. I wonder what the significance is. And why do JFK and Clinton have identical blue shirts on? I just may have to email the artist and ask him. There may be some meaning behind these two items, or he may have simply done so as an inside joke – getting a kick knowing people like me are scratching my head and going ape-shit trying to figure out the wall painting and two matching shirts….

This is great! Yes please find out about the wall picture if you can. Thank you for sharing this..
It could be my 4×7 inch screen or my Firefox 2. It could be because it is 6:30 am. Who is the guy second in from the right and are there eight of them in the painting? It is probably too early for my brain and I have had only one third of a cup of coffee. Did you name eight of the nine at the pool table? I NEED COFFEE. Phillip
LOL… good morning! There are nine men in the painting – I just recounted to make sure. The second from the right is Woodrow Wilson. The names are in the first paragraph, but I just realized there are 8 names, so one name is missing. Here are 8 of the nine – just need to figure out who is missing a name:
President Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, President Kennedy, Harry S. Truman, President Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and Andrew Jackson
The name missing from the description is Lyndon Baines Johnson
I’m guessing the painting on the wall is of an earlier gathering (seven presidents) — before Clinton and Obama were elected.
Possibly. Just strange that in the wall painting, it’s the same cloths and tie.
This may be a stretch but, the picture on the wall looks to have similar placement of figures to The Last Supper.
Actually, that’s not a stretch as they do. But I pulled up an image and set it right next to the painting. It is very close except for whoever that is to JFK’s left, wearing the tie. In the Last Supper, there isn’t anyone in that spot – but the other 3 are very close.
I know who isn’t there! THE HOLY GHOST! eggsuckingpup
The picture above Obama’s head is actually an earlier painting before Obama was elected. I have that painting on my desk as we speak.
Ahhh… that makes perfect sense. Thanks!!! The mystery has been solved.
Does the blue shirts symbolize “Blue Collar” working class?
Very doubtful. Especially JFK.
Woodrow Wilson was a horrible person and president. He was worse than Bush, which is very hard to achieve. He wrote racist things and he invaded many countries. He destroyed haiti and then just left them. He even landed troops in Russia, one of the main causes of the Cold War.
andy j looks pissed, prob wondering were obama escaped from
I have this painting. I think Andrew jackson was surprised to see a black man as president, because he owned many slaves.
