A Visual Image of Gayle Trotter’s Super-Mom with Her AR-15

I could NOT help myself, folks. Just couldn’t. I’m so eeeeevil! Photoshop brings one’s imaginations to life.

Lawyer and gun rights activist Gayle Trotter gave vivid testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee at a Wednesday hearing on gun violence. Trotter, a senior fellow at the conservative Independent Women’s Forum, argued that a proposed ban on assault weapons would “disarm” vulnerable women and “put them at a severe disadvantage” in fights with multiple criminals.

“An assault weapon in the hands of a young woman defending her babies in her home becomes a defense weapon,” said Trotter, a mother of six. “And the peace of mind she has … knowing she has a scary-looking gun gives her more courage when she’s fighting hardened violent criminals.”

What world does this woman live in??? She’s obviously out of touch with the “real” world, but good gawd woman, what the hell do you think is going on out here? Are you one of those paranoid bitches that slams down the door lock when you see a black man walking on the street? LOL… probably see one on TV and you mess your lace panties.

The thing is, if there are all kinds of “babies in the background screaming,” what the hell is she doing with a loaded AR-15 in the house that is easily accessible enough to use in time to shoot that gang of criminals busting down her door? Of course, I suppose she could be breast feeding and doing the laundry with the thing slung over her shoulder all day….

Despite my complete annoyance and dislike for Gayle Trotter’s completely ignorant testimony, after I heard it multiple times on talk radio today, this image formed in my mind. I think this is actually Gayle Trotter’s fantasy…. to be an AR-15-weilding Lara Croft-style super mom! Coming to a nursery near you to save the day!

Naturally, that is Angelina Jolie from Lara Croft’s Tomb Raider. Nothing personal here at all against Jolie, and definitely no reference towards the large amount of children she has adopted. I actually think she, and Audrey Hepburn, and the two most beautiful women to walk the face of this earth.

She wants the right to choose to defend herself. Wonder if she also wants the right to choose whether or not she gives birth.

  Oh, crap. There was some woman being interviewed on another radio talk show and I didn’t catch enough info to look up the details. But she is very pro-assault rifle and definitely anti-abortion.

  Trotter appeared on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show (MSNBC) and dodged and weaved when he tried to ask her that very same question, She never did answer, saying that’s not why she came on his show. I guess she only had one answer in her.

    Maybe that’s what I heard. It wasn’t that the woman I heard on the radio stated she was anti-choice, but she would not say that women should be allowed to make their own choice. Which avoiding the answer in such a manner only means that they’re radical anti-choice and would love to see abortion clinics shut down.
    
    Oh, the irony of it all. Do people not see this in themselves? Or just not care?

Now there’s an image for ya… LOL.
I saw the testimony and couldn’t believe that though Trotter was there to testify in favor of assault weapons, she didn’t even know what type of rifle was used in the example she sited to make her case. It was a Remington and not on the list of weapons to be banned. To me, that would make everything she said irrelevant. How this woman became a lawyer is beyond me.
Then again, Michelle Bachman is on the Intelligence Committee. Go figure.

  That was her, too? OMG! I heard that, or some interview where the woman described an instance were some woman protected herself with a gun. And it ended up being a shotgun. I missed the name when I heard it. When I work, I just listen halfway to the radio. Something catches my attention, but by then I have often missed the intro of the story so not sure who it’s about.
  
  I thought that was great because that woman only supported the point that a legal non-assault weapon does perfectly fine in protecting oneself.

  I’ve been wondering that myself. I would imagine that anyone who lives in such a scary rough neighborhood probably cannot afford an AR-15. We have 13 dogs in this house. No one comes in here unless they know us and know we’re home.
