This was a song written and performed by the Hoosier Hot Shots way back in the Vaudeville days. I came across this song and video when reading my nightly dose of Oddee and just got a kick out of it. 

The video is a copy of an old 8mm film produced by Castle Films called “About Bananas” that looks like an educational film about bananas. The cartoon vitamin characters remind me of the cartoons that I grew up with.

Although I cannot find much information about the song, if you do a Google search for “I Like Bananas (because they have no bones)” there are a ton of results – but they all appear to be either videos or lyrics.
