If the GOP are not scientists, then why do they try to be Gynecologists?
With the ever-pressing studies and dramatic changes in weather we have been witnessing, the Republicans still refuse to admit there is any global warming occurring. In a few Republicans, you can see in their eyes that they believe what the scientists are saying — but no way will they ever admit it. As a whole, they remain staunch in their refusal of seeing fact, both from scientific studies and by an ever-growing trend of extreme weather. At least they have finally changed their response to the question, “Do you believe in global warming?” Previously, it was a straight-up “no.” Now, their reply, thanks to Rick Scott (R-FL), is “Well, I’m not a scientist.”
Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky also was quoted saying, “I’m not a scientist.”
Then there is Mr. Orange, John Boehner. When he asked if climate change will play a role in the Republican agenda, he gave the now ever-popular response of, “I’m not qualified to debate the science over climate change.”
Well, Mr. Boehner, McConnell, Rick Scott, et al, if you’re not qualified to debate science, then since you’re not a doctor, specifically a gynecologist, then you are not qualified to tell any woman what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Enough said.
But then, that wouldn’t fit your agenda, would it. It’s all about what is convenient for you.
