The Hillary Email Scandal has gone on long enough. This news story is so used up, yet no one wants to dump it. So what if she used her own server? Seriously… so what???!! If it’s total transparency you want, then I suggest everyone in Congress, along with other related appointed positions, to cough up all their emails, both public government domain email and email from a private account. There is absolutely no guarantee that every politician and non-elected official alike, only used their government email for governent affairs. In fact, I am quite sure of just the opposite. Do you really think McConnell and his Obama-hater-klan corresponded about their goal of making Obama a "one-term president" via their government email account?

I doubt the Right Wing will ever let this go. They want to beat it into the ground in hopes that this email scandal will cause enough damage to her presidential run to keep her from becoming elected. And the 3,000 deleted emails? She said she deleted all her personal emails, and I believe her. Remember, emails also have a recipient. If it was something nefarious, then it would have hit someone else’s account and available to review.

Let it go, people. Let it go.

IT HAS JUST BEEN REVEALED THAT HILLARY CLINTON EXCHANGED A NUMBER OF EMAILS WITH PRINCE MGWANA KIKBOUTI OF NIGERIA. THE EMAILS INDICATED THAT IN EXCHANGE FOR HILLARY’S SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER THE PRINCE PROMISED A MASSIVE SUM OF $100,000,000 WOULD BE DEPOSITED IN BOTH HILLARY’S PERSONAL ACCOUNT AND THAT OF THE CLINTON FOUNDATION. HILLARY IS STILL WAITING FOR THE FUNDS TO ARRIVE, MEAN WHILE SOME $5 MILLION WAS MYSTERIOUSLY WITHDRAWN FROM POOR HILLARY’S ACCOUNT SHORTLY AFTER SHE EMAILED HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO NIGERIA. WHAT’S THE OLD SAYING? “THERE IS ONE BORN EVERY MINUTE”!!!

Well, I’ll have to differ with you on this one. I think her explanation for and use of a private email account and server stinks to high heaven, along with her deletion of emails she deemed “personal” and wiping the server before turning it over to investigators. Incredibly poor judgment and/or she’s hiding something.

  Yes, I recall this was one thing we disagreed with. That having been said, I think EVERY politician has something to hide. If she does, I don’t think she planned ahead for such “hidden secrets” by using her own server. If she had used a government account, as with all other politicians, there is no guarantee that nothing of security would not have been sent on a personal account/personal server. If anything, by using her own server, it does open up the transparency as she used it for all correspondence. I’d bet the Federal vault that there are several crooked politicians that have some emails sent from some other account that would completely destroy them. When it comes to electronics, Hillary is a ditz. I truly believe she started out on her own server with one account because it was one less thing she had to worry about with her newly appointed position.
  
  Personally, I’d love to see all emails, personal/private and government, from several other politicians. Perry, Cruz, McConnell, Boehner, Christie, etc etc etc.

      Probably, but all the more reason to doubt she “didn’t stop and think.” My guess is she’s been carefully considering every move and decision for years, knowing she wanted to be president one day. A private phone, email, and server assured her complete control.

      Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to argue or be a pain, but I don’t see what is wrong with that. I would imagine most people seeking a very high position – especially POTUS – begins planning from a very early stage in their career.

      The images under each story summery can be on top or on either side of the post summery, I forgot where it as located to move said images to the right, left or top. I found it.

      Did you mean the “Featured Image”? It varies upon the theme where that shows, but if your theme supports it, whatever you select for the featured image will show on your post in your blog roll.

As an information and network security professional, this is why I think her email server is an important issue in the upcoming presidential candidate selection process.

Cybersecurity in today’s world is a big deal. The threats range from script kiddies to organized crime to terrorists to most nations militaries. Protecting important information, including classified and unclassified email is of extreme importance. The official (and even unofficial) communication of the secretary of state of the United States is extremely valuable information. Protecting this information is paramount, and requires excellent physical security, sophisticated digital security, monitoring with event analysis and correlation, redundancy, backup, and team of experts.

The decision to process national security sensitive on an email server stuck in a closet in her personal home without the aforementioned requirements for the simple excuse of not wanting to carry two smart phones shows horrible judgment as well as total ignorance of the importance of information and network security. In addition her decision to vet her own ‘personal vs government’ email content shows a lack of respect for information classification.

Any candidate running for federal office, especially the chief executive who will oversee and drive information and network security efforts across the entire federal government, must ‘get it’ about cybersecurity at a much better level than she clearly does, and be passionate about it.

  I thought about the security, as well. Then I reminded myself that the IRS files were hacked. Who knows… Clinton’s server may have been more secure.
