This is absolutely one of the lowest things I’ve seen yet by any presidential candidate or their spouse. Melania outright plagiarizes parts of Michelle Obama’s speech from 2008. Actually, I’m sure it was someone else that helped write it – or wrote it entirely – as Melania’s English is poor, very broken. So whoever wrote that for Melania is the plagiarist. Regardless, Melania gave the speech and ultimately it is her responsibility. Melania is not First Lady material. When I think of Lady Bird Johnson, Jackie O, Rosalynn Carter and many other notable women that have taken this “seat” throughout history, it is truly an insult to their memories when thinking about Melanie being the next FLOTUS. Watch this video and you will see. Even the cadence is nearly identical. The written comparable parts are given below the video.
From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise, that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life.
That is a lesson I continue to pass along to our son, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow. Because we want our children in this nation to know is the only limits to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.
