Hitler’s rise to power is often broken down into four stages. We are now in the final stage, final steps. The first three stages are as follows – I’m not breaking them down as it does not matter at this point. I’m including them so you have the overall picture.

STAGE 1: Post-WWI Instability (1918–1923)
STAGE 2: Rebuilding the Nazi Party (1924–1929)
STAGE 3: The Road to Chancellor (1929–1933)

And our current stage…

STAGE 4: Consolidation of Power (1933–1934)

• Reichstag Fire Decree (February 1933):
  Following the arson of the Reichstag building, Hitler used it to suspend civil liberties, allowing the arrest of political opponents, mainly Communists.
  • TRUMP EQUIVALENT
    • Denying the constitutional right of due process to immigrants of any status – recently, even US citizens.
    • Attacking judges claiming they are the “radical left” regardless of their party affiliation – these judges were following the constitution they took an oath to uphold
    • Attacking Democrats in office has been ongoing since Trump’s first term.
      

• The Enabling Act (March 1933):
  This law allowed Hitler’s cabinet to enact laws without the consent of parliament, effectively making him a dictator.
  • TRUMP EQUIVALENT
    • Trump has been using executive orders instead of congress even though executive order are not law — only congress can pass law.
    • These are orders that would, most likely, NOT be passed by congress – many of Trump’s EOs have been unconstitutional.
    • This gives Trump time to push forward his authoritarian rule while his executive orders are caught up in the court system.
      

• Gleichschaltung (Nazification):
  All other political parties, labor unions, and organizations were banned or forced into dissolution, creating a one-party state.
  • TRUMP EQUIVALENT
    • Trump has been suing main stream media since he took office on January 20, 2025, in order to control what journalists are allowed, and not allowed, to say.
    • Trump has been suing universities/colleges in order to force them to teach what HE wants to be taught (the MAGA agenda)
    • Trump has been spreading outrageous lies about Democrats in office since his first term, but now has all Republicans in office repeating these lies for him
      • “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will eventually believe it,” Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Officer, chief propagandist
      • “Accusations in a mirror,” Joseph Goebbels – propaganda by accusing the opposition of crimes that they, themselves, are actually committed. We see this all the time with Trump. All his crimes, the election fraud accusations on Biden… nearly everything he claims Democrats are doing are what he, himself and the Republican party are doing.
        

• Night of the Long Knives (June 1934):
  Hitler executed leaders of the SA (including Ernst Röhm) to consolidate his power and gain the support of the German army.
  • TRUMP EQUIVALENT
    • ICE Agents – Trump is creating his own personal militia, using them to attack Americans (even though ICE does NOT legally have jurisdiction over US citizens) who oppose him — all under the guise of searching for illegal immigrants.
      • It was never entirely about illegal immigrants – that was the reason to build his militia to use against Americans.
    • Trump is using ICE to bring chaos and destruction to American cities with the end goal of invoking the Insurrection Act to stop the midterm elections.
      • ICE will eventually arrive in all major cities and their surrounding areas.
        

• Merging Offices (August 1934):
  Upon the death of President Hindenburg, Hitler combined the offices of President and Chancellor, declaring himself Führer and Reich Chancellor.
  • TRUMP EQUIVALENT
    • He’s already president, but he will invade other nations and take rule over them. He’s attempting to invade Greenland this very moment and has troops ready to send.
