Recently, George state Representative Terry England told a story that “Life gives us many experiences.” England went on to explain, “I’ve had the experience of delivering calves, dead and alive — delivering pigs, dead and alive. … It breaks our hearts to see those animals not make it.”
The purpose of this little tale was to supposedly support HB 954 which is a measure which would prohibit a woman from having an abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. This controversial bill would even apply in situations where the fetus was not expected to survive.
.
This statement has angered many women, and men for that matter, as Rep. England pathetically compares livestock fetuses to human fetuses. Anyone with half a brain would know and understand that there is no comparison here. Therefore, Representative England must not even have half a brain.
What I heard was the rambling of a feeble-minded person who apparently has spent more quality time with pregnant farm animals than he has pregnant human women.
Georgia, I do feel so sorry for you. I hope you think twice before approaching the ballot box next time he is up for election. And it appears that there are many more you need to think about before voting as this bill passed as follows:
Yea (Y): 102 / Nay (N): 65 / Not Voting (-): 6 / Excused (E): 7
Once again, I shake my head wondering why our country is going backwards in time with women’s rights. But moreso, I am awaiting for all these anti-women bills and talk to backfire and bite all these anti-women’s-right buffoons where the sun doesn’t shine.
