Interactive Website Shows Global Nuclear Locations – Except Those in the US
A friend of mine sent me this link today to a site called Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). It will be best for me to simply quote from their “About” page on who and what this organization is:
“The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a mission to strengthen global security by reducing the risk of use and preventing the spread of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons and to work to build the trust, transparency, and security that are preconditions to the ultimate fulfillment of the Non-Proliferation Treaty’s goals and ambitions.
“The danger posed by nuclear and biological weapons looms as potentially the most consequential issue facing our nation and the world. For this reason, it has been, and continues to be, NTI’s focus. The threat of nuclear terrorism, fueled by the spread of nuclear materials, know-how and weapons, has brought us to a nuclear tipping point. Meanwhile, the biological threat, in many ways, is more precarious and complex, as it is inextricably tied to the vast, positive opportunities in biotechnology.
“We all face the very real possibility of the world’s most deadly weapons falling into dangerous hands.”
In the first paragraph, the site uses the word “transparency” in regards to disclosing and knowing all the locations of various nuclear, biological and chemical weapon facilities – except for one major problem… where are all the locations of these facilities in North America – specifically, the United States?
I fail to see the transparency.
And the third paragraph, “…face the very real possibility of the world’s most deadly weapons falling into dangerous hands….” Oh, this has already occurred. Nuclear weapons have been in the hands of one of the most deadly and dangerous countries in the world… the United States.
Personal opinion here… our so-called threat of nuclear warheads being built in Iran is just a lie so that our military and government can convince the people of the US that we need to invade Iran and start up a war there now. Since we’ve withdrawn (mostly) from Iraq and a smidgen from Afghanistan, our military tyrants have to go somewhere and puff out their chests. So they’re focusing on Iran now.

DOES NOT COME AS ANY SUPRISE TO ME. I’VE WATCHED, OVER THE YEARS, THE RIGHT WING BIBLE THUMPERS AND THE WAR HAWKS FIND A BOGEY MAN AROUND EVER CORNER SO AS TO SUPPORT THE CORPORATE MILITARY MACHINES WITH TAX DOLLARS TO INCREASE PROFITS. WE HAVE TO BE READY FOR WAR TO JUSTIFY THE APPROXIMATELY 43% BUDGET EXPENSE FOR THE DEFENSE DEPARTMENT.
The hypocrisy sickens me. Our gov’t and military carry on how we need to stop these foreign countries from gaining power so we invade them. We are doing exactly what we don’t want them to do.
First; you know me from that funny “Mammy Blog”. You know the one where we are all dancing around the real issue of lust which is best communicated through pheromones and sign language. When what all of us really wants is some time out from the outrageous stress of imminent, horrible death. We wish for immersion in some blissful moment with no way to really explain in language. One on one, ‘time locked’ in togetherness for at least a short time. Living in the moment until it screams.
With a little nap, I will be ready to face instant nuclear death. Once not long ago I heard that Los Angeles was targeted with seventy six LARGE nuclear warheads. “Anything worth doing, is worth doing right”. I think it may be an old Russian saying. We is Los Angeles are stale bread waiting to be toast. There won’t even be time for butter with sugar and cinnamon.
Am I afraid? YES, YES, YES as a matter of fact I am! This kind of fear puts most productive pursuits on hold. I’ll do it tomorrow…Maybe. At least I’ll make the good faith effort and write a list.
My species disappoints me, but what am I to do. All I can say is that each day makes the next day possible. You know “one day at a time”. Do your best to be a good person; it can’t hurt, Serious; be nice. perhaps the “spare change” person is a fraud. Would you go out and ask for spare change; maybe it is on the level???

Well what can I say.. America the warmongers because it’s BIG business… Lets make as many weapons as we can ( keeping the population of America as wage slaves grateful for the job of making weapons to kill ) then export the weapons to other countries so we can invade them later or go to war with them..
makes sense… NOT !
and of course keeping people in fear really helps to control them!
Fear most indeed is the biggest way to control people.
And just imagine if Romney were to become president. I may just hop a plane over the puddle and live in your basement.

LOL.. thank you. But I’m a big package with two very furry dogs. Actually, I wouldn’t mind going up to BC (Vancouver area). I love the Pacific NW and Canada has excellent health care.
