A friend of mine sent me this link today to a site called Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). It will be best for me to simply quote from their “About” page on who and what this organization is:
“The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a mission to strengthen global security by reducing the risk of use and preventing the spread of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons and to work to build the trust, transparency, and security that are preconditions to the ultimate fulfillment of the Non-Proliferation Treaty’s goals and ambitions.
“The danger posed by nuclear and biological weapons looms as potentially the most consequential issue facing our nation and the world. For this reason, it has been, and continues to be, NTI’s focus. The threat of nuclear terrorism, fueled by the spread of nuclear materials, know-how and weapons, has brought us to a nuclear tipping point. Meanwhile, the biological threat, in many ways, is more precarious and complex, as it is inextricably tied to the vast, positive opportunities in biotechnology.

In the first paragraph, the site uses the word “transparency” in regards to disclosing and knowing all the locations of various nuclear, biological and chemical weapon facilities – except for one major problem… where are all the locations of these facilities in North America – specifically, the United States?
I fail to see the transparency.
And the third paragraph, “…face the very real possibility of the world’s most deadly weapons falling into dangerous hands….” Oh, this has already occurred. Nuclear weapons have been in the hands of one of the most deadly and dangerous countries in the world… the United States.
Personal opinion here… our so-called threat of nuclear warheads being built in Iran is just a lie so that our military and government can convince the people of the US that we need to invade Iran and start up a war there now. Since we’ve withdrawn (mostly) from Iraq and a smidgen from Afghanistan, our military tyrants have to go somewhere and puff out their chests. So they’re focusing on Iran now.
