Ann Romney Cries “Stop it! This is hard!” No, Not to Mitt But In A Radio Interview

No, Ann isn’t talking to Mitt… In an interview with Radio Iowa, Ann Romney had this to say to Republicans who have been critical of the floundering Romney presidential campaign (emphasis added):

“Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”

At 1:33 is when Ann scolds her fellow Republicans who are bailing on Mittens:

This really is becoming very old. If you want to read about my response to Ann’s behavior, please feel free to check out my “Open letter to Ann Romney.” For now, though, in regards to this interview, Ann is becoming very very tiring. Her whining and carrying on about how difficult it is to have your husband run for President…. Honey, if you think it’s tough now, then you don’t want to see what it would be like if Mitt were to become president. But no worries there, Ann, because that won’t happen. We all know, seen and have heard all about the “secret video.” Then yesterday, Mitt appears for an interview on the Latino station Univision looking like he just turned into an Oompa Loompa.

With that I’m done.

I find this one to be rather disturbing….

  1. I heard one commentator say that if Romney’s skin got any darker, he wouldn’t vote for himself. A spray tan?? Really, what a naked attempt to pander to Latino audiences.
As for Ann, ugh. I have no idea why they ( his campaign team) thought she was a secret weapon. First there was the ‘you people’ remark, then she was supposed to convince us what a nice personable guy he is. But if that were true, he could convey it himself. Now ( Whine Whine ) she’s complaining about how hard a campaign is. Yes, it’s a long road and I imagine many a candidate’s wife would rather not do it but, *she’s* the one who ‘urged’ him to run. So, now you’ve got your campaign Ann, so quit griping.

  2. This is pretty sad. Not much a of a thick skin in the Romney clan I guess. I bet Romney wishes he would have listened to his son when he asked him not to run. Anyone see that on Conan a while back? Mitt should have’t followed that advice ’cause it doesn’t look like he’s handling the criticism very well.

    • If he didn’t continually screw up all the time, in addition to basically telling America he’s going to take away the things we need and privatize everything to make some money… then the criticism wouldn’t be quite so bad. Adding Ryan was like Romney pouring salt on 47% of the people with wounds.

Go ahead... I can hear your thoughts. Please share with the rest!
