Detroit family caught in travel ban, mom dies after being denied entry
This just sickens me. Trump made this move, the ban, without any concern to anyone regardless of the consequences. We’ve been hearing all kinds of incidents that have occurred due to this ban. People with green cards being denied. People who are legally employed with a work visa being denied. People who risked their lives by working for the US being denied. Now their lives are in grave danger now by those who oppose the US. Now, an elderly woman died.
According to FOX2 out of detroit (yes, a FOX station) a local business owner flew to Iraq to bring his mother back home to the US for medical treatment. But under President Trump’s ban on immigration and travel from seven predominately Muslim nations, he was forced to leave his family behind.
His mother died just one day after being told she couldn’t return to the United States.
Mike Hager fled Iraq with his family during the Gulf War, returned during the Iraq war and worked alongside United States Marines and Army forces. He now owns a business in Metro Detroit and said his mom would still be alive today if Donald Trump had not instituted his travel ban on Muslim countries.
These people have done everything right and are paying the price of a maniacal, egotistical, bigoted, racist man… the Usurper, Donald Trump.
Without little discussion with anyone and without warning, Trump felt it important to live up to one of his campaign promises and didn’t care what the damages were to anyone. It was a knee-jerk reaction that Trump is famous for. He does not think, he just does — and most of the time, many people are hurt in some manner or another. If Trump felt it was of dire importance to put forth this ban, he should have consulted others knowing that there are people coming in who are legal, with green cards and many employed. And not one single terrorist or mass murderer came from any one of those banned countries.
Trump does not care about anyone but himself. This is going to be a horrible four years. I just hope he is impeached soon or becomes gravely ill (yes, I actually feel that way and I never wish ill on anyone, but Trump went too far and is hurting too many people but not helping anyone except himself). I don’t care for Pence at all, but I do not believe he would have done anything like this.

Yes. He did. Can he fire any member of congress or any elected official? Or just those his office hires? Or any federal employee? I fear that many people who disagree will become afraid to voice their opposition for fear of being fired by the Usurper.
