First of all, I am an atheist. I do not believe in an afterlife, including reincarnation. However, when I see the similarities between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler, it gives me pause.

I came across a psychological profile of Hitler a few months back when I was doing a bit of research on the “Big Lie,” and you could have knocked me over with a feather. The profile on Hitler is spot-on identical to Trump’s traits. I say “traits” because, as we know, Trump has never had a psych profile of any sort done. I suppose because he knows exactly who, or what, he is and does not want it confirmed.

The Psychological Profile of Adolf Hitler, 1943, by Walter C. Langer for the US Office of Strategic Services.

“His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.”

Let’s put this in a list. It makes it much easier to read – and sink in. Remember, this is Hitler….

  • Never allow the public to cool off;
  • Never admit a fault or wrong;
  • Never concede that there may be some good in your enemy;
  • Never leave room for alternatives;
  • Never accept blame;
  • Concentrate on the one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong;
  • People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it. (AKA, “The Big Lie”)

Having been born in 1964, I will have to assume what I read about Hitler, by professionals, is factual. Ergo, I will assume the above is an accurate description of Hitler. Now, let’s apply this to Donald Trump.

  • Never allow the public to cool off.
    Trump’s rallies. Every rally, he pumps up his group by continually bringing up those people he feels have wronged him. Again. And again. And again. I do want to point out that these are rallies, they are not campaigns. Trump rarely goes into any details about his plans for his presidency, which is his “Project 2025” – but that is another post, or several posts, altogether. His followers really do not want to hear those details, anyway. They come to Trump’s rallies so they can all hate the same thing all at the same time. A big “Hate Fest” and “Bitch Fest.” Nothing productive.

  • Never admit a fault or wrong.
    During Trump’s term in office, did you EVER hear him admit any mistake, no matter how small? No. Never. Now, is this something he would not do because of his malignant narcissism? Or does he know this is one of Hitler’s tactics? Trump has read about Hitler, from what we were told by Ivana. As a rule, though, Trump does not like to read.

    A specific moment in history… #SharpieGate.
    On Sept. 1, 2019, Trump tweeted about Hurricane Dorian, which was approaching the east coast of Florida. And, for some unknown reason, he included the state of Alabama.
Alabama was NOT in Hurricane Dorian’s path. Shortly after this Tweet, Birmingham put their tweet correcting Trump…

Of course, Trump did not like being corrected at all. In his world, he is NEVER wrong. Later in the day, Trump showed a map of the hurricane’s path and there, to the left of the path, is a black Sharpie line that includes Alabama in Hurricane Dorian’s path.

Trump insisted he was correct even after the National Weather Service corrected him. This is something that would be so incredibly easy to correct oneself, “I have been informed by the National Weather Service that Alabama currently is NOT in the path of Hurricane Dorian. My apologies for any confusion.”

Typical Trump behavior.

  • Never concede that there may be some good in your enemy;
    Have you ever heard trump say anything nice about any of the Republicans he was running against in 2016? No. In fact, Trump made stuff up such as stating that Ted Cruz’s father was involved in the Kennedy assassination. And Trump also insulted Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, by saying she was ugly. When Trump said that, I wish Cruz had walked over the Trump and hit him as hard as he can.

    Now, we have Biden. And Biden has brought back this country from the shit-show that Trump left it in. Fastest recovery in all time. Biden has broke some all-time highs in the stock market. And jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs! They keep happening every month. You will never see Trump compliment Joe Biden. Never.

  • Never leave room for alternatives
    I will admit, I’m having a hard time with this one. I am not quite sure I understand what it means. So if anyone would like to tackle this, just post in the comments. And if you understand what this means, please… explain.

  • Concentrate on the one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong
    Oh, definitely Trump. We’ve seen this more in the past few years than we did when he was in office. Trump started blaming Joe Biden for EVERYTHING! Even being indicted for his crimes. Biden has had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with trump’s indictments. Joe Biden has and amazing high level of morals and integrity – it is just not within Joe’s ability to abuse the presidency and the DOJ like that. Besides, evidence of trump’s crimes shows like a neon billboard. Then something happened trump did not expect. You know what I’m going to say…

    Biden dropped out and Kamala stepped in.

    Trump had a cow the first week or two after Biden and Kamala made their announcements. trump and his team had built an entire campaign on ridiculing President Joe Biden. If Trump had focused on a campaign where he provides information on his plans upon taking office, then he would not have to worry about the Democratic ticket. That is a big problem for trump, though… TRUMP HAS NO PLAN UPON TAKING OFFICE (if he were to win, which he will not). This was very apparent just a few days ago when Trump called another one of his “press conferences.” Trump had all his food products sitting outside in the sun and a reporter asked what will Trump do about the high credit card debt. Trump couldn’t given even a partial plan — all he said was, on November 5th, vote for him and he’ll take care of the credit card debt.

    Trump had no plan because he put all his eggs in his “beat-up-on-Joe-Biden” basket.

    Even the border Trump has blamed entirely on Biden when, most recently, the fault actually lies with Trump and the House GOP. For the past 3 administrations, Congress has not done anything about the border, which has forced each president to use Executive Orders for border control. The border is not to be controlled by Executive Orders, it is the job of Congress to create a new security bill. What is enacted now is archaic and does not even come close to processing all the people seeking asylum.

    Obama asked Congress for a new border security bill. It never happened.

    Trump never asked Congress because Trump wanted to use Executive Orders so he could be mean to immigrants and refugees.

    Finally, Joe Biden comes along and did what our previous two presidents did not get done — Success with Congress writing the much needed border security bill. Joe Biden must be a poker player because he “forced the hand of Congress” to get it done. Biden did the opposite of what Obama and Trump did – Biden repealed most, if not all, of the executive orders at the border. Yes, this brought more chaos, and Joe Biden used that for a specific purpose. Biden used the chaos to pressure Congress to do their job — to write a new Border Security bill, and it worked. The Senate finally did write a new border security bill. A BI-PARTISAN bill as both Republicans and Democrats teamed up to get this done right. This bill was not perfect, it has holes in it. But was considerably better than what we have now. Plus, it allowed the president in office to close the border to immigrants-only. Legally, the president cannot close the border in such a manner. From what I understand, it would open up all kinds of lawsuits as there are not any official procedures in place. Do not believe Trump and other Republicans — currently, the border cannot be legally closed.

    Well, Trump wasn’t going to have it – he did not want this bill to pass because the border is one of Trump’s campaign topics. Trump told the House GOP to not even vote for it, which they complied. Even though Trump is not in any office, he is running the House GOP from Mar-a-lago. Even though border security themselves helped the Senate with writing the bill by providing them a list of their needs. Border Security was waiting for the House to pass the bill so they get the relief they needed.

    As we all know, the House refused to vote on it – mumbled lies that it was a bad bill and whatnot.

    So, as you can see, Donald J Trump targeted Joe Biden and blamed him for everything even though Biden was not to blame for most of the items Trump blamed on him.
  • People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.
    Here we go. The “Big Lie.” This is Donald Trump’s favorite tactic. Through the years, Trump has learned to lie so well, so confidently, that his followers believe everything he says – no matter how insane the lie is, Trump will tell it over and over and over until more and more people start believing it.

    I am not going into much detail on this one. We all know what Trump has done since he lost the election in 2020.

Well, there you go. The list at the top was developed back in the mid-1940’s as a psychological profile of Hitler.

And it also fits Donald Trump to a “T”. Please, feel free to download this meme and share it online.

Back to my original question… Is Donald J Trump the reincarnation of Hitler? If reincarnation is possible, then it looks like it’s a good possibility Trump has been reincarnated from Hitler. They are too much alike to ignore. Or is it just pure coincidence?

  1. I’m guessing the thing about no alternatives means you and only you dictate what will happen or be done. No alternatives offered by anyone else will be considered.

    Trump may be deliberately emulating Hitler — assuming he was able to read anything about Hitler in the first place. And I think malignant narcissism probably explains both of them pretty well.

  2. There are many more similarities between them than just this list. It’s scary. Very scary.

  3. From what I’ve read about reincarnation, when you come back you have further lessons to learn. As bad as trump is, he is not nearly as evil as Hitler. Their characters seem to have traits in common with one another. Perhaps, this time around he will not commit suicide, but will have to suffer defeat & embarrassment. He will have to face up to those he persecuted & those he fooled into believing in him.
