Bill O’Reilly is, once again, creating lies and twisting facts into what he, and FOX News, wants their viewers to believe.

Here is a video from his November 16th edition on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.”  Trust me, I had a hard time stomaching the vomit he spewed forth.

Allow me tackle some of his “points” (other than the point on the top of his head):

The hypodermic needles. 

I do not doubt that there has been drug use in the Occupy camps… no more than there is in our schools; by medical professionals within our hospitals; by “normal” citizens who have multiple prescriptions in their medicine cabinet of legally prescribed – but abused – narcotics, anti-depressants, etc; and, yes, the 1% (but not limited to them) who have a martini, or two, at lunch then return home in the evening to down 4 or 5 scotch on the rocks before retiring to bed.  Mind-altering substances do not have to be injected via a needle, nor purchased illegally on the streets in order to be considered drug abuse.

And seriously, I have doubts that all these needles in the video were found by the police.  There are crooked cops who plant paraphenelia, and I wouldn’t put it past Bloomberg to have this done; and who’s to say that some of these needles were not left behind by a diabetic?  Like I said, I’m sure there was drug use going on.  I don’t condone it, but it is a fact within our culture, country, and world.  But Mr. O’Reilly here is implicating that all Occupiers are addicts.  Ummmm… no.

The violence. 

This has been minimal – by the protesters.  Cannot say the same of the law….  But there are anarchists which appear in about any and all movements and protests.  Keep in mind, though, that violence is most certainly not limited to protests.  There are acts of violence during and after sporting events, for example – but those are condoned because of the money drawn in – especially with professional sports.  Now, I love sports, and I am not targeting sporting events with any motive against them.  But I do feel the need to “keep it real.”  When profit is involved, violence is typically overlooked.  Violent acts often occur especially within large groups of people with elevated emotions.  However, when comparing the number of protesters which have participated throughout our country to those who have “acted out,” the percentage of violence is considerably less than other events with similar volumes of people.

Now we move into the Tea Party comparison.

Personally, being a supporter and participant with the Occupy Movement, I am offended to even be in the same sentence with the revolting term “Tea Party.”  But he brought it up, so here I go….

Morgan Freeman, the Tea Party and Racism. Truth hurts.
This interview with Morgan Freeman really stirred up some emotions throughout the country.  Mr. Freeman simply had the balls to state the truth.  This does not mean I believe all Tea-Partiers are racist, as there are thousands who are good, honest, hard-working citizens with integrity and morals.  However, within the Tea-Party, there are known racists.  This posting goes on further than the interview with Morgan and lists some of those who are leaders within this movement.  For example:

Larry Pratt of Virginia is a member of two different national Tea Party networks: Tea Party Nation and 1776 Tea Party. He has been promoting the gun and militia movement for years. In 1992 he spoke at a Colorado meeting of Aryan Nations leaders, former Ku Klux Klansmen, and adherents of so-called “Christian Identity” — a doctrine in which Jews are considered Satanic and persons of color are referred to as “mud people.”

Does this mean that there isn’t racism within the Occupy Movement?  Of course there is.  Racism is, sadly, present in all countries, all groups, and most certainly in all movements.  This is a sad fact, one of which I most certainly do not like to admit.  But not admitting the truth doesn’t make it disappear.

Joe Walsh (R-IL), who relishes lecturing President Obama and Democrats on fiscal responsibility, owes more than $117,000 in child support to his ex-wife and three children. Despite loaning his own campaign $35,000 — and paying himself back at least $14,200 for the loans — Walsh has claimed he failed to make the payments because he “had no money.”

A vote for Bachmann is a vote for a snake oil salesman…
A posting completely devoted to one of our more notable GOP Presidential candidates who is one of the leaders of the Tea Party.  Personally, Bachmann is one of the biggest jokes of the century.

The Billionaires’ Tea Party

This documentary is nearly an hour long, but well worth watching.

A Tea Party summer camp for 8-12 year olds? OMG, now I’ve seen it all… or have I?
This camp, “hopes to introduce kids ages 8 to 12 to principles that include “America is good,” “I believe in God,” and “I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.”… One example at Liberty: Children will win hard, wrapped candies to use as currency for a store, symbolizing the gold standard. On the second day, the “banker” will issue paper money instead. Over time, students will realize their paper money buys less and less, while the candies retain their value.

Oh, and yes… I would much rather have my daughter supporting the Occupy Movement than the Tea Party.

As far as the statistics O’Reilly provides on a poll from the Wall Street Journal?  This is a poll gathered from on-line viewers of the Wall Street Journal and not a true representation of all classes of people within our country.  A very one-sided poll therefore not factual.

Is this movement dead?  Absolutely not.  We may be chased out of the camps, but the camps are not critical to the movement.  They have served a well-fought purpose of waking up many Americans and bringing the facts to light.  Additionally, the force and means in which the camps were removed also only go to show where our country has gone, and that our rights are disappearing right before our eyes.  We still have the power of the internet – which is now under threat due to the SOPA bill.  This is running under the guise of companies protecting their copyrighted material (another reference to the greed by those companies in control of our country) – but this is pure and simple attempt at legalizing censorship.  Should this bill pass, it will be but merely a speed-bump… there are ways around it and they will be found and used.

This movement is far from dead.  To you, Mr. O’Reilly, and those who have evicted – and are evicting – the camps… all you are doing is putting a stick into a bee hive and pissing off the occupants.  Now, prepare yourselves for the upcoming stings.
