No, Ann isn’t talking to Mitt… In an interview with Radio Iowa, Ann Romney had this to say to Republicans who have been critical of the floundering Romney presidential campaign (emphasis added):
“Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”
At 1:33 is when Ann scolds her fellow Republicans who are bailing on Mittens:
This really is becoming very old. If you want to read about my response to Ann’s behavior, please feel free to check out my “Open letter to Ann Romney.” For now, though, in regards to this interview, Ann is becoming very very tiring. Her whining and carrying on about how difficult it is to have your husband run for President…. Honey, if you think it’s tough now, then you don’t want to see what it would be like if Mitt were to become president. But no worries there, Ann, because that won’t happen. We all know, seen and have heard all about the “secret video.” Then yesterday, Mitt appears for an interview on the Latino station Univision looking like he just turned into an Oompa Loompa.
