Who Said It, Santorum or Hitler?
A few days ago, Santorum compared Obama to Hitler, but in fact it is Santorum who has a few political ideals shockingly similar to Hitler’s. Don’t believe me? Take this 50/50 round and see if you can figure out who said what. I was very amazed, and actually rather frightened, both by the statements and the answers.

Though honestly, with a few exceptions, they were all guesses.

Yeah, I guessed on all, too. But what scares me is that I thought they could all have been from Santorum, but some were, in fact, from Hitler.
Fascist ideology and economics always utilize American-style populism, e.g., super patriotism, god and country, religious commitment both in the literal and figurative sense. The result is always repression, expanding legalization of bigotry, reduction of the franchise to vote, furtherance of corporate control of ideology as well as the economy.
Nothing new. Nothing added from my side. Mussolini and all the successful fascists pre-WW2 wrote the book on it. Santorum, Paul, Gingrich have added nothing new. Romney is just another power-hungry opportunist following the crowd that actually shows up to vote in Republican primaries, nowadays.
The only common thread is intellectual dishonesty, corrupt ideology.
Whoo-Hoo…got a 90%! But the one I got wrong, I attributed to Hitler when it was Santorum. Scary huh?

Scored 70% right, with numbers 6, 7, and 8 wrong. But Michelle, you’ve proved your point, because it could have been Santorum or Hiltler on just about every question. A fanatic is a fanatic, and both these men have been and are dangerous fanatics, differing only in the severity of the degree of danger that their fanaticism has the capability to threaten the world. I only got 50% of them right, but then again, I was only half wrong. It doesn’t really matter … because you see, “I am not voting for either one of them.”

Sometimes I actually wonder if we might be a little better off with a “benevolent dictator” than what we have now. It did not amaze me that I only got it “half right” my wife could have told you what my final score would be BEFORE the first question was answered.
I am just that kind of guy.
That “I choose thing” up there in the right hand corner is pretty cool, I like that. Life is, as it illustrates, full of choices. Nice touch.

Yeah, I’ve often wondered about a dictator, too. But would have to be just the right person and not a heathen. But I love our democracy, it is just broken right now as the parties continue to fight among themselves. If they would all grow up and quit the bickering, we’d have a phenomenal government.

Wow I got 80% Got questions 3 and 9 wrong
I got a 90%, missed question 9. But all of my guesses were based on the articulateness of the quote. If it was really high level English then it was Hitler, and if it sounded like a high school student than it was Santorum.
Pretty sad, isn’t it.
How do you know what you got? I pressed finish quiz and did not get any results.
You know… I don’t know. It did the same for me and I don’t have it set up to close or any limits per computer. I even went to a different computer that is not used for my sites and it did the same thing. I checked the settings… I honestly do not know. I will publish the answers as a link to a pdf file.
I upgraded my account so answers will now appear along with if you got it correct or not. And thank you for letting me know. If you had not have commented, I would not have known the results weren’t showing.
I scored an 80% correct responses on the quiz, but with the exception of a couple Santorum quotes in the news lately…I would not have been able to tell the difference and I guessed!

Got 70%. Most were guesses and I mainly based my guesses on how articulate the quote was as oppose to the ideology expressed. ha. Good one! Or scary one depending on how you look at it.
Very frightening. I posted the results after one week of the quiz being up, and found the results to be rather alarming. But decided to keep the quiz open just to watch the numbers as they grow.
