Yes it does. I think the impact made yesterday carried a very strong message and they will not pass.. as they are currently written. But I fully expect some revised versions to appear.
Yes, if it doesn’t pass as currently written, I also fully expect some revised versions to appear, because 100 million dollars in favor of SOPA/PIPA really greases the wheels as well as the palms in Congress! These are the same sleaze bags that voted in favor of pizza continuing to be part of USDA approved school lunches, because tomato paste makes pizza a vegetable! They know no shame!
That’s like classifying pizza tomato paste as a dessert due to having sugar in it.
They’d probably lower themselves to doing that too, if it pleased their corporate constituents in the food industry. Oh, and last time I checked, science classifies tomatoes as a fruit, but why would a fact like that make one bit of difference in the middle of a total travesty like this one?
So, pizza may then be a veggie, fruit and dessert all hand tossed into one (pardon the intentional pun).
Give me a bucket of rotten ones and put me up there in the gallery, and I’ll do LOTS of hand tossing!!! And then I’d be in need of a pardon from a vacation in Gitmo!
If there’s to be a tomato-tossing, I want to be there!
